Mahmoud Khalil is a Palestinian student at Columbia University with US citizenship, has appeared in student protests on campus that support the Palestinian cause and reject the genocide practiced by Israel , in addition to refused students to express their opinion and freedom in their position

Mahmoud Khalil was arrested in these demonstrations, which sparked various reactions among students, and recently, US Judge Jamee Comans of the LaSalle Immigration Court in Louisiana issued a decision that immigration authorities can directly attract a deportation with the possibility of appealing to U.S. courts.
