In the past 72 hours: 21 children have died due to malnutrition and starvation in the Gaza Strip
Medical sources have announced that 21 children have died due to malnutrition and starvation across various areas of the Gaza Strip during the past 72 hours.
The same sources explained that these deaths were recorded at hospitals in Gaza, including Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir al-Balah and Nasser Hospital in Khan Yunis.
They noted that cases of malnutrition and starvation continue to arrive at hospitals in Gaza at every moment, warning that frightening numbers of deaths are expected due to the starvation imposed on the residents of the Gaza Strip.
The sources pointed out that 900,000 children in Gaza are suffering from hunger, with 70,000 of them having already reached the stage of malnutrition.
They confirmed that the lives of patients with diabetes and kidney disease are at serious risk due to poor nutrition, as they suffer severe complications caused by the deliberate starvation being inflicted by the Israeli occupation on the people of Gaza.
