On Palestinian Prisoners’ Day, we do not merely mark an occasion; we renew our unwavering pledge.

Today, we call upon the conscience of the world to stand with Palestinian prisoners, whose fundamental rights are violated daily in the prisons of the Israeli occupation. These violations occur in the shadow of a disturbing international silence and complicity that conceals systematic crimes, ranging from medical neglect to slow execution behind bars.

This morning, we awoke to the heartbreaking news of the martyrdom of prisoner Musab Hassan Odeili. This is not an isolated incident but rather a new chapter in the ongoing genocide targeting our prisoners, 64 of whom have been martyred since October 7, including 40 from Gaza. These numbers expose the magnitude of the crime but fail to capture the depth of suffering endured by thousands of detainees confronting the machinery of repression alone, without genuine international protection or accountability.

To international institutions and independent media: your silence is complicity, and your disregard for these sacrifices is a stain on the conscience of humanity. Palestinian prisoners are not mere statistics; they are leaders, thinkers, mothers, children, and youth who have been made to pay the price for the dignity of an entire people.

If the occupation wagers on breaking the prisoners’ will, we wager on the awareness of free nations and the power of truth to expose this injustice. This is no longer just a humanitarian plea; it is a battle for existence, identity, and freedom, one that leaves no room for neutrality or compromise.

Freedom for our prisoners, glory to our martyrs, and shame upon the silent.
