International Day of Innocent Children Victims of Aggression

International Day of Innocent Children Victims of Aggression

On June 4th of every year, the world stands in solidarity with children whose childhoods have been stolen by war, violence, and aggression. This day is not merely a reminder of the suffering of the young in conflict zones, but a global call to protect innocence that is trampled under the weight of interests and conflict, and to put an end to the violations targeting the most vulnerable members of society.

At the heart of this suffering stands Gaza, where children are martyred in their homes, pulled from beneath the rubble, and deprived of their most basic rights to life, education, and safety. What is happening there is not only a humanitarian catastrophe, but a crime against childhood and humanity as a whole. Standing in solidarity with the children of Gaza today is a stand for justice, a rejection of silence, and a demand for accountability for those who commit crimes against them.
