Israeli Forces Use Child to Blackmail His Imprisoned Father

This child, named Ahmad, is 12 years old and from the town of Kafr ad-Dik in the Salfit Governorate. He was named after his father, Ahmad Abdul Karim ad-Dik, as he was born while his father was imprisoned in Israeli occupation jails.

At dawn today, Israeli occupation forces raided their home but did not find "Ahmad the father." The soldiers then blindfolded and tied up "Ahmad the son," took a photo of him, and sent it to "Ahmad the father" via WhatsApp, demanding he turn himself in or they would arrest "Ahmad the son" and the rest of the family.

But it didn’t stop there. The soldiers also sent the father a voice message from his son—recorded under the threat of a weapon—in which the boy pleads with his father to surrender out of fear of being arrested, beaten, or even killed.
