As a traveler walking through Gaza, I simply observe the beauty of life that stands in stark contrast to the surrounding war.

Gaza is ancient—its spirit clings to your soul no matter how much you try to resist. With every new scene my lens captures, I am more amazed than before. Once, passing through an alley, I saw eight of them standing before me. I stopped, smiling at what I saw. I know well that women often have the strongest presence in everything, but I never imagined their gathering could be the most powerful presence of women I have ever witnessed.
